About Rental Fee for Golden Week 2019
Thank you for using our shop always.
Due to the period of peak demand（Golden Week; 2019/4/27-2019/5/6 this year）, the rental fee on 4/30（Tue）,5/1（Wed） and 5/2（Wed）is weekend price, even though they are weekdays.

日頃はびわこ一周レンタサイクルをご利用いただきありがとうございます。
レンタサイクルをお申し込みの際には下記休業日を外してご予約いただけますと幸いです。
（休業日をまたがっての3日間のご予約は可能です。例；5/21（火）～5/23（木））
また、下記以外に臨時休業が入る場合もございますので、予めご了承ください。その際には前もってお知らせいたします。

いつもびわこ一周レンタサイクルをご利用いただきありがとうございます。
今年も残りあと１ヶ月余りとなり、またこのお知らせをする時が来ました。
米原駅サイクルステーションは上記の通り、冬の間お休みさせていただきます。
今年一年間、ユーザーのみなさまとお出会い出来て本当に楽しい日々でした。
たくさんの出会いの中で、教えていただいたこと、学んだこと、寄せられた要望等を活かして、
次のシーズンに備えたいと思います。
みなさまも楽しい冬をお過ごしください！
なお、★来年のご予約受付は2019年2月1日より開始いたします★

旧賤ヶ岳トンネルの冬季通行止めのお知らせ/Information about a road closed in the winter
いつもびわこ一周レンタサイクルをご利用いただきありがとうございます。 （English information is here ➡ Information about a road closed in the winter） ビワイチルートの一部の道路情報について更新がありますのでお知らせします。 琵琶湖の北端部を周るときに通過する旧賤ヶ岳トンネル及び海津大崎について、下記の通り交通規制が実施されます。 ●旧賤ヶ岳トンネル （飯浦大音線） ★冬期通行止★ 通行止期間【2018年12月1日（土） ～ 2019年3月22日（金）（※春除雪により前後します）】
⇒この間、迂回路として国道８号線の賤ヶ岳トンネルを通っていただくことになります。
⇩大音の交差点に案内看板が出ており、冬季のルートは右側の看板にて示されています。
●海津大崎（西浅井マキノ線）
★平日通行止め、土日祝解除、年末年始解除★
規制期間【2018年9月3日（月） ～ 2019月2月28日（木）】
⇒この間、迂回路として国道３０３号線の奥琵琶トンネルを通っていただくことになります。
⇩大浦口の信号で要確認。平日は直進、土日祝は路面の青い矢羽の通りに左折して海津大崎へ向かってください。

以下、奥びわ湖パークウェイは、永原駅側からの一方通行であり、且つ起伏の激しいコースなので通常パスされます（岩熊トンネル通過によりパスできます）が、補足情報としてお知らせします。

Information about a road closed in the winter
Thank you for using as always. This is an information about some roads closed in the winter, where are a part of BIWAICHI route. All of the following roads are in the northern area of Lake Biwa. ●Old Shizugadake Tunnel （the route from Hannoura”飯浦” to Oto”大音”） ★CLOSED★ Period【December 1st（Sat）in 2018 ～ March 22（Fri） in 2019（※the end date might be changed up to the condition）】
⇒During this period, you should go through the Shizugadake Tunnel on the national route 8, instead of the Old Shizugadake Tunnel.
⇩There are two signboards at the Oto traffic lights and the route during the winter is the right one. Go left along the route 8.
●Kaizu-Osaki（the route from Nishiazai”西浅井”to Makino”マキノ”）
★CLOSED in WEEKDAYS, OPEN in WEEKENDS,HOLIDAYS and NEW YEARS HOLIDAYS★
Period【September 9th（Mon） in 2018 ～ February 28（Thu） in 2019】
⇒During this period, you should go through the Oku-Biwa Tunnel on the national route 303, instead of Kaizu-Osaki.
⇩Check the route at the Ouraguchi traffic lights. Go straight along the route 303 till the Oku-Biwa Tunnel on weekdays. Turn left to Kaizuosaki following the blue arrows on weekends.

The Oku-Biwako parkway is the one-way road from west side and has many hills, so most of cyclists pass the parkway by going through the Yanokuma Tunnel.
●Oku-Biwako Parkway（the route from Tsuzuraozaki”葛籠尾崎” to Kaizu”塩津”）
➡Sugaura Gate 〜 Observatory（The west side of the Tsuzuraozaki cape）
Until December 9th（Sun）, it’s possible to go.
★CLOSED★
Period【December 10th（Mon）in 2018 ～ March 29（Fri）in 2019（※the end date might be changed up to the condition）】
➡Observatory 〜 Yanokuma（The east side of the Tsuzuraozaki cape）

【Important】The heavy rain damaged to the road-a part of BIWAICHI route-
Allow me to notify you of the latest information and additional information.＜July 9,2018＞
Thank you for using always. First of all, we would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the heavy rain. In Shiga prefecture,this heavy rain has made the local rivers swell and put the houses in the area at risk of flooding. Moreover,a part of the BIWAICHI route was damaged,announced as follows;➡The roadblock was removed on July 7 6:30 pm.

【重要なお知らせ】大雨の影響によりビワイチルート含む一部道路が通行不可となっております。

［2018/7/9］最新情報を追加いたしました。
いつもびわこ一周レンタサイクルをご利用いただきありがとうございます。
まず、この度の大雨で被災された皆様の一刻も早い復旧をお祈り申し上げます。
今回、この7月5日から西日本を中心に降り続いている記録的な大雨の影響により、滋賀県でも、
ビワイチルートを含む下記道路が全面通行止めとなっております。
➡規制解除されました。
⇒国道８号 通行規制について（第４報［終報］）～通行止め解除のお知らせ～
ただし、県道514号飯浦大音線の土砂崩落については、目下復旧作業中で当面通行不可能となっております。
琵琶湖一周のルートとして長浜市木之本から長浜市西浅井へ抜ける道は、当面、国道8号線のみとなります。
また、国道8号線の賤ヶ岳トンネル内を含め、この先、藤ヶ崎や海津大崎などの岬回りのルートにおいて、ところどころ山から染み出す水で路上に水溜まりが出来ていたり濡れていたりする箇所が多数ございます。通行の際には徐行してスリップ事故のないよう細心の注意をお願いいたします。

【解除予定】 未定
国道8号上面の県道飯浦大音線の土砂崩落に伴い、国道8号に土砂流出の恐れがあるためとのことで、
現在のところ解除の見通しは立っていません。
したがいまして、当面の間、道路及び周辺環境の安全確認が出来るまでは、
琵琶湖一周することが出来ない状況です。
大変残念な事態ではございますが、安全あってこそお楽しみいただけるのがサイクリングです。
上記道路をのぞいたビワイチルート（湖岸道路）は現在のところ通行可能であるとのことですが、
実際の確認はこれから行われます。
ビワイチ以外のコースにおいては走行可能なエリアもありますが、
何箇所か通行止め区間もございますので、下記ロードマップにて状況をご確認ください。
とくに増水している河川の近くは危険ですので要注意です。

We designed our brand logo. It’s the logo of our rental bike shop,”BIWAICHI RENTAL CYCLE”.
Blue is lake. Lake Biwa. Light blue is sky. Green is mountains. Yellow green is towns and countryside. And white zone is YOUR WAY. It’s the image of scenery that you see during cycling around lake Biwa. So the logo means your cycling experience. When you finish cycling around lake and come back to our rental bike shop, then you see the logo, the image will impress you more strongly. We hope that it reminds you of experience of cycling, that is pleasure and fun that you have felt through taking a bike trip.
We are waiting for you at MAIBARA CYCLE STATION. We are going to give you as much support as we can so that you will achieve your goal or enjoy your travel safely.
