WINTER CLOSING【2018/12/10-2019/2/22】

Thank you for using our rental bike shop this year, too.

It’s the time again that we should tell you about the winter closing.
We will close our shop during winter, from December 10th in 2018 to February 22 in 2019.
Because here the local area will be covered with snow and it will be so cold, it is not good condition for biking.

We staffs are going on New Year vacation from Dec. 29 to Jan. 6 in 2019, for 9 days.
If you have any questions about our service of rental bicycle or cycling around Lake Biwa or some events we announced, please contact us via email or phone after Jan. 6.

We will start to accept your reservation on February 1st in 2019.
And we will open again our shop and start to rent bikes on February 23, Saturday.

旧賤ヶ岳トンネルの冬季通行止めのお知らせ/Information about a road closed in the winter

いつもびわこ一周レンタサイクルをご利用いただきありがとうございます。

ビワイチルートの一部の道路情報について更新がありますのでお知らせします。
琵琶湖の北端部を周るときに通過する旧賤ヶ岳トンネル及び海津大崎について、下記の通り交通規制が実施されます。

●旧賤ヶ岳トンネル （飯浦大音線）
　★冬期通行止★　
通行止期間【2018年12月1日（土）　～　2019年3月22日（金）（※春除雪により前後します）】

⇒この間、迂回路として国道８号線の賤ヶ岳トンネルを通っていただくことになります。

⇩大音の交差点に案内看板が出ており、冬季のルートは右側の看板にて示されています。
　　



●海津大崎（西浅井マキノ線）
★平日通行止め、土日祝解除、年末年始解除★
規制期間【2018年9月3日（月）　～　2019月2月28日（木）】

⇒この間、迂回路として国道３０３号線の奥琵琶トンネルを通っていただくことになります。

⇩大浦口の信号で要確認。平日は直進、土日祝は路面の青い矢羽の通りに左折して海津大崎へ向かってください。

以下、奥びわ湖パークウェイは、永原駅側からの一方通行であり、且つ起伏の激しいコースなので通常パスされます（岩熊トンネル通過によりパスできます）が、補足情報としてお知らせします。

●奥びわ湖パークウェイ（葛籠尾崎塩津線）
　➡菅浦ゲート（永原駅側）〜展望台
　〜12/9　通行可
　★冬期通行止★
　通行止期間【2018年12月10日（月）　～　2019年3月29日（金）（※春除雪により前後します）】

　➡展望台〜岩熊（近江塩津駅側）
　★災害により通行止★

Information about a road closed in the winter

Thank you for using as always.

This is an information about some roads closed in the winter, where are a part of BIWAICHI route.
All of the following roads are in the northern area of Lake Biwa.

●Old Shizugadake Tunnel （the route from Hannoura”飯浦” to Oto”大音”）
　★CLOSED★　
Period【December 1st（Sat）in 2018　～　March 22（Fri） in 2019（※the end date might be changed up to the condition）】

⇒During this period, you should go through the Shizugadake Tunnel on the national route 8, instead of the Old Shizugadake Tunnel.

⇩There are two signboards at the Oto traffic lights and the route during the winter is the right one. Go left along the route 8.
　　　


●Kaizu-Osaki（the route from Nishiazai”西浅井”to Makino”マキノ”）
★CLOSED in WEEKDAYS, OPEN in WEEKENDS,HOLIDAYS and NEW YEARS HOLIDAYS★
Period【September 9th（Mon） in 2018　～　February 28（Thu） in 2019】

⇒During this period, you should go through the Oku-Biwa Tunnel on the national route 303, instead of Kaizu-Osaki.

⇩Check the route at the Ouraguchi traffic lights. Go straight along the route 303 till the Oku-Biwa Tunnel on weekdays. Turn left to Kaizuosaki following the blue arrows on weekends.

The additional information is below. The Oku-Biwako parkway is the one-way road from west side and has many hills, so most of cyclists pass the parkway by going through the Yanokuma Tunnel.

●Oku-Biwako Parkway（the route from Tsuzuraozaki”葛籠尾崎” to Kaizu”塩津”）
　➡Sugaura Gate 〜 Observatory（The west side of the Tsuzuraozaki cape）
　Until December 9th（Sun）, it’s possible to go.
　★CLOSED★
　Period【December 10th（Mon）in 2018　～　March 29（Fri）in 2019（※the end date might be changed up to the condition）】

　➡Observatory 〜 Yanokuma（The east side of the Tsuzuraozaki cape）
　★CLOSED due to the disaster★

Information of our shop’s holidays from August to December

Thank you very much for using BIWAICHI RENTAL CYCLE.
We have an information of the days that our rental bike shop is closed from August to December.
So please check the days as follows and make a reservation.
You can make a reservation of the rental period that is more than 3 days including the holiday, that is you will pick up a bike the day before the holiday and return it the day after the holiday.（ex.It’s OK that the rental period is from September 4 to September 6.）
We are afraid that the schedule might be changed. Then we will inform about it you here as soon as we decide.

米原駅サイクルステーションより下半期（8月～12月）の休業日のお知らせです。

レンタサイクルをお申し込みの際には下記休業日を外してご予約いただけますと幸いです。
（休業日をまたがっての3日間のご予約は可能です。例；9/4（火）～9/6（木））
また、下記以外に臨時休業が入る場合もございますので、予めご了承ください。その際には前もってお知らせいたします。

当レンタサイクルをご予約のお客さまで、お車でお越しをご予定の方は特にご注意ください。

また、米原駅構内自由通路において以下の時間帯で入場規制が行われ、通行不可となります。

当日10/14（日）の米原駅サイクルステーションの営業については、
上記時間帯は駅東口付近にて臨時返却場所を設け、お客様のレンタサイクル返却に対応いたします。

If you are going to come to our shop by car, please pay attention to the traffic control.

Furthermore, we have the entrance regulation inside Maibara station from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on that day, and no entry past here.


Then, we will work on our customer’s bicycles return outside the station. We will let them know the details individually.

「米原サイクルアドベンチャー」で ” サイクリングの秋 ” 満喫！！

酷暑の夏も過ぎ、少しずつ涼しくなってきましたね♪ さあ！秋こそサイクリングシーズン！(^o^)丿
この秋は計6回、夏休み中に開催して人気のあった半日ツアーを3回と、昼食付きの一日ツアーの3回を企画しています。

米原の歴史、文化、自然の中を、風を感じながらサイクリング。
目で見て、耳で聞いて、地域がまるごとわかる、五感を使っての体験型地域学習の機会にもなりますよ！

秋は、日々彩りを増してゆく景色を愛でることのできる楽しみと、心地よい涼風の中を駆け抜ける快感もプラスされ、まさに自転車の季節♪♪

「米原サイクルアドベンチャー」は、
米原駅サイクルステーションを起点に、3時間（～6時間）程度で周遊する「地元密着型ガイド付きサイクリングツアー」です。

交通の要衝として発展してきた米原のまち。その名の通り、田園風景が広がるのどかな田舎道。
米原だからこそ見えてくる「隠れ彦根城」の景観や、「常時14-16℃の湧水に触れられる」環境、宿場町や伊吹山、びわ湖等の豊かな自然と歴史、集落内の小道や脇道の面白さ、人びとのあたたかさを体感できるツアーを提案したいと考えています。

つきましては、9月30日（日）、米原駅サイクルステーションは臨時休業とさせていただきます。

台風21号接近による臨時休業のお知らせ/Temporarily closed due to Typhoon JEBI approaching

日頃はびわこ一周レンタサイクルをご利用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。
非常に強い台風21号が近づいており、明日4日（火）には近畿地方に最接近する見込みと予報されております。
つきましては、明日4日（火）、米原駅サイクルステーションは臨時休業とさせていただきます。また、翌5日（水）は定休日です。

According the weather forecast,Kansai region,including Shiga prefecture,will hit by JEBI tomorrow.
We decided to close our shop,Maibara Rental Cycle,tomorrow on September 3rd temporarily.We close our shop for two days because this Wednesday（September 4th）is regular day off as we announced before.
